During my exchange in Quebec, I worked for a local desk furniture company: Groupe Lacasse. They wanted to add to their catalogue a Working lounge area piece of furniture. The seating had to be a temporary isolated working space as well as a part of the meeting environment. Aperture was born. A comfortable felt seating paired with a felt insulation panel. This modular system can move easily across the workspace. The user can choose its level of isolation by rotating his seating. In addition several Aperture systems can be regrouped to create an improvised meeting room.
